About the event

NOTE: Due to popular demand we have also added a 1:00 pm show. If the tickets for the 4:00 show are sold out, check the 1:00 show for availability

Yazmin will be giving a special live-in-the-studio recorded performance. We can accommodate an audience of 18 people for this special event. Light refreshments will be served after the event, and guests will have the opportunity to meet-and-greet with Yazmin. Ticket prices are a suggested contribution of $10-$25 and you will have the opportunity to enter your desired purchase price when purchasing tickets.

Yazmin is a multi-talented artist, pianist, vocalist and composer, drawing inspiration from styles as widespread as Folk-Rock to Afro-Cuban Jazz. She grew up in Washburn, Wisconsin with professional musician parents and began playing the piano at age 3. Her first musical influences were a melting pot of popular movie scores, Classical, Blues, Jazz, Rock, Funk, Celtic, and Folk. At age 12 she discovered and fell in love with Cuban music, sending her on a journey of intense study between both Cuba and the US. She went on to study piano and songwriting at McNally Smith College of Music under a full scholarship. She's a regular performer at the Lake Superior Big Top Chautauqua and has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with the likes of Nanci Griffith, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and Maykel Blanco. She currently tours with her trio Yazmin & Beat Zero and resides in New Orleans, LA.

Note that because we will be making a live recording, we will not be running air conditioning during the event due to the noise it would introduce. The show within the studio room should be approximately one hour. The room will be cooled prior to the event, and then guests should expect the room to become warmer during the time of the performance.
