To have real musicians making real music takes real time, skill, and overhead expense. And to make really good music and a really good show requires a lot of time, skill, and expense. Those people that are really good? We're called professionals.

 

As professional musicians we make part of our income in the same way other service workers do - through tips. We use it to feed our kids and pay our bills. Without it we can't play - and you can't enjoy - music at this level. It's as simple as that.
